Ed, a native of York ME, studied at the Worcester Center for Professional Crafts. In 1994, upon completion of the intense Comprehensive Fine Woodworking & Furniture Design Program, he opened his own company, Edward Alexander Design, a custom woodworking shop, specializing in high-end millwork, cabinetry & furniture.
In 2005, being sensitive to his clients needs & priorities, The Window Shop was opened to incorporate window & door restoration.
In 2020 EAD Woodwork was formed to incorporate EADesign, The Window Shop and EADWoodwork, a new collection of handcrafted goods currently showcased on Etsy.
